So Tessellate Zine #1 is finished and up for sale now, I thought I’d post some of the spreads which I was the lead illustrator/designer for so you can get a feel for whats coming your way! From top to bottom we have: Anberlin, Marvin Gaye, Festival Preview, Childhood/Angel Haze and Your Demise
(Anberlin frontman Stephen Christian uploaded his portrait to Instagram which was pretty awesome)
You can still grab a copy here if you like what you see: http://www.tessellatezine.bigcartel.com/product/tessellate-zine-1-spring-2013
Spent 10 hours at uni today shooting a cut paper animation based on the 1933 King Kong, managed to get 15 seconds done. Thats my crotch there
I finished my advertising assignment for uni today, its a guerilla advertising campaign for Waterstones with vintage luggage label designs based around novel titles, some classic and some more recent to link in with the idea of reading as a form of travel and escapism. Instead of a sticker as proof of a place you’ve visited you’d get one for a book that you’ve read
(I don’t own Waterstones or any of the novels/associated imagery mentioned)
Analog photography?
Anyone into shooting film that wouldn’t mind having some images featured on a site I’m making for university with a quick email interview?
Hello! I’ve been crazy quiet lately because I’ve been busy working on finishing up the first issue of Tessellate Zine which is available to pre-order as of now. Its been a labour of love with a couple of talented designers for the past few months. Sweat, tea, gin and swearing went into this and I’m super excited to share it with you all.
Happy Easter sinners, heres some halftone goodness for Tessellate Zine in the form of Angel Haze and Ben and Leo from Childhood for an ‘Introducing’ article
Some more luggage labels for my Waterstones campaign for uni, 1984, On the Road and Day of the Triffids. Not really sure where I’m going with this at the moment…
